HPNA June News!

JUNE YARD OF THE MONTH WINNERS

Congratulations to Frank and Margaret Schooler at 714 Westwood who are the June Yard of the Month winners. Drive by and look at this lovely home and garden if you haven’t seen it already. It’s truly an oasis. See the photo here.

RICHARDSON IN THE DALLAS MORNING NEWS

New on our website is a link to Richardson-specific news in the Dallas Morning News. This is a new community news page which aggregates stories about Richardson into one easy to access place – a one-stop-shop for news and information about Richardson.

Another exciting new feature is the Richardson blog. Ian McCann, a DMN reporter, is now covering Richardson specifically along with Jeff Weiss, the RISD reporter. They’ll both be posting articles to this blog several times a day to get news and events about the city out to us. You can use this blog as a place for friendly discussion and offer up your own thoughts on things going on in Richardson.

HPNA T-SHIRTS A BIG HIT!!!!

If you attended the HPNA May General Meeting, you saw our new HPNA T-shirts. We have adult and children sizes and they’re awesome! Regina Harrison, our Membership Chair, spearheaded this project and she’ll be getting photos of the t-shirts posted on our website soon. The shirts have our HPNA logo on the front, including the iconic Rocket Ship! She’ll have more information online about pricing and how to get your orders filled so watch for that. In the meantime, if you want to place an order now, contact Regina at regina_harrison@sbcglobal.net or (972) 234-6610.
